Your Residential Property Lease Agreement outlines your
obligations as a Haven property tenant, such as rent payment
instructions, security deposit and pet deposit requirements,
your legal obligations, state statute information and more.
Each Residential Property Lease Agreement is unique based
on the location, value and amenities of the property. The
most common lease term is one year.
Following is a list of general requirements every tenant
should keep in mind during their lease term:
- Monthly rent payments may be paid by valid check, money
order or cashiers check payable to Haven Property Management,
LLC. Late payments and bad checks are subject to surcharges
outlined in your lease agreement. Tenants are under legal
obligation to pay their rent each month.
- Pets are permitted only after advance notification to
Haven and payment of a pet deposit, as outlined in your
lease agreement.
- Tenants are not permitted to sub-let or share the lease
property with an individual who is not listed in the lease
agreement.
- Repairs may be reported between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday
through Friday, or tenants may leave a message after hours.
When a non-emergency maintenance request is made, Haven
will have a resolution to your request within 48 hours.
- A security deposit is withheld to ensure the property
is maintained during the term of the tenant’s lease.
If repairs are needed due to mistreatment or neglect, the
amount of the repair is deducted from the tenant’s
security deposit. See your lease agreement for details.
